Managing Projects and Managing Myself Becoming one of project managers for this class has been a very interesting experience for me so far. I truly didn’t know what kind of job I signed up. Now, I’ve realized that I have become a person for my classmates to run to whenever they need support and encouragement, I’ve had other students message me for help and guidance - being able to assist my classmates in a way that is caring and useful has been extremely rewarding. It truly pushes me to want to be more attentive towards my classmates and our assignments to ensure that their experience in this class is the best it can be. Project 2 was significantly less stressful than the first one. The first presentations we were assigned for this class felt like we were all scrambling like mice to get the projects ready and organized in time. But for this past project - me, my fellow project manager Erika, and my classmates had the luxury of having a little bit of flexibility when it came to ti...

Blog #2 post Balance or Burnout

Alright, so with most classes that require a group project, I try to do some type of research and put it together hoping for the best. Unfortunately, I find myself most of the time finding things to do, well the only problem is I am not doing the job I am supposed to be doing. We all know procrastination tends to lead to anxiety and well we all know the rollercoaster of a ride that becomes. This group project I found to be quite fun if I may say. I personally felt like everyone brought out some hard-hitting information good points that really stuck. Some intense topics and some sensitive ones but you know, there’s always a message to be delivered. “Three things that cannot be hidden are the sun the moon and the truth. “Buddha. We all know social life and mental health go hand in hand. You know that feeling when you are not all there and you just don’t want to be bothered, and you pull away. Having good friends or a partner, even family members to support you and help you upli...

Bridging Knowledge and Experience: Reflecting on My Classmates’ Presentations Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of attending several student presentations that left a much deeper impression on me than I initially expected. Often, classroom presentations are treated as mere assignments—boxes to check off at the end of a semester. But what I witnessed during these sessions was something far more meaningful: a powerful blend of research, creativity, and personal investment that sparked reflection, conversation, and genuine insight. Each group tackled a different topic, yet together they offered a panoramic view of the challenges and opportunities we face as young adults preparing to enter a complex world. The diversity of themes—from career paths shaped by economic trends to the crucial role families play in education, to the increasingly pressing topic of mental health—highlighted how interdependent our personal, academic, and social lives truly are. What stood out most was...

Participating in and observing the different groups helped me realize just how interconnected our chosen topics were. Even though each group had a distinct theme, they all painted a bigger picture of our generation’s concerns and hopes for the future. Our presentations were not only informative, but also deeply personal and relevant to the real-world challenges we’re all beginning to face. Reflecting on my own group’s presentation and those of my peers, I’ve come to appreciate the creativity and dedication that went into each project. More than simple classroom assignments, these projects were explorations of topics that impact our everyday lives, such as our mental health, our families and education systems, our...

A Multidimensional Look at Society: Presentations on Economy, Education, and Mental Health Today, we’re highlighting three thought-provoking presentations that explore important aspects of our lives and society. Group One takes a closer look at the economy and potential career paths, offering insights into the evolving job market. Group Two dives into the connection between families and education, emphasizing how home life can shape academic success. Finally, Group Three focuses on mental health and social life, discussing the importance of emotional well-being and meaningful relationships. Let’s take a closer look at what each group had to say. Economy and Potential Careers Group One opened the panel with an insightful presentation on how technology and shifting economic trends are reshaping the world of work.
